I have been using an XL Hardcover Moleskine journal (Evernote edition) for several years.  After going Paperless in 2013, I went back to a journal in 2015.  The digital device (an iPad in my case) was a distraction during a 121.  I have refined my process over the years and am using a Bullet Journal.  I added Rocketbook pages this year as well. Images are below.

I carry my Bullet Journal to every 121 and meeting. It is my “bucket” as David Allen, author of Getting Things Done would say. Every task and note goes into the journal. I spend about 2 hours each year resetting it for next year.

Tasks are 52 single pages each with the Monday date. I list todo items and follow the Bullet Journal protocol to get things done.

I list the index on left, Tile below (so I don’t lose it!) and member and coaching client 121 schedule on right.

I use an initial system for members and assign each 2 pages for 121 notes. I block other pages for coaching, groups and boards.

I added pages from a Rocketbook this year. It is erasable and easily scans into Evernote or Google Drive.
